خاموشی
جب انسان اپنی وقعت کھودے تو اسکے لئے بہترین پناہ خاموشی ہے ، وضاحت کبھی سچا ثابت نہیں کر سکتی ، ندامت کبھی نعم البدل نہیں ہو سکتی ، الفاظ کبھی انسان کو اس کا کھویا ہوا مقام واپس نہیں دلاسکتے ۔ ہاں خاموشی مزید تزلیل سے بچا سکتی ہے ۔
خاموشی ایک زبان ہے جسے ہر کوئی اپنے ڈھنگ سے بولتا ہے ۔ خاموشی بولتی ہیء نہیں چختی بھی ہے ۔ پکارتی اور لتاڑتی بھی ہے ۔
محبوبہ خاموش رہے تو ناراضی ،
محبوب خاموش رہے تو بزدلی ،
والدین خاموش رہیں تو مجبوری ،
اولاد خاموش رہے تو سعادت مندی،
انسان خاموش رہے تو بے بسی ،
انسانیت خاموش رہے تو بے حسی ،
قوم خاموش رہے تو مظلومیت ،
حکمران خاموش رہے تو سیاست ،
یہ خاموشی سکہ رائج الوقت ہے ۔ جب بھی رائج ہوتی ہے تو کسی کو خرید لیتی ہے یا کسی کو بیچ دیتی ہے ۔ لیکن یہ ہمیشہ رائج نہیں ہوتی ۔ خس موقع اور خص وقت پر استمعال کی جاتی ہے ۔ اس لئے کم بولنے اور ذیادہ سننے والے کو عقلمند کہا جاتا ہے ۔ خاموشی ایک عظیم نعمت ہے بالخصوص اس موام پر جہاں اختلاف زیادہ آواز نلند کرے ، علم کی کمی ہو اور دلیل کی کوئی وقعت نہ ہو ۔
جب انسان خود سے مخاطب ہونے لگتا ہو تو دوسروں سے خاموشی اختیار کرنے لگتا ہے ۔ خاموش انسان خاموش پانی کی طرح گہرے ہوتے ہیں ۔ خاموشی خود ایک راز ہے اور ہر صاحب اسرار خود خاموش رہنا پسند کرتا ہے ۔

جانتے ہو اذیت کیا ہے ؟
کہنے کو تو بہت کچھ ہونا مگر خموش رہنا ۔ خاموشیاں کبھی بے وجہ نہیں ہوتی ، کچھ درد ایسے بھی ہوتے ہیں جو آواز چھین لیتے ہیں ۔ خاموشی گونج ہے سناٹوں کی آواز ہے رِستے زخموں کی ، چیخ ہے شکستہ دلوں کی اور فریاد ہے مظلوموں کی ۔
صبر خموشی اور لاتعلقی بہترین انتقام ہے ۔ ٹوٹنے والے انسان کی ذبان میں ہی نہیں بلکہ روح میں بھی خاموشی اترجاتی ہے ۔کسی کے ساتھ لڑنا جھگڑنا انسان کے وقار میں کمی لاتا ہے ، لوگوں کو اپنی خاموشی سے ڈراوَ ۔
خاموشی دانا کا زیور اور احمق کا بھرم ہے ۔
جو انسان جتنا خاموش رہتا ہے وہ اپنی عزت کو اتنا ہی محفوظ رکھتا ہے ۔

جو انسان تمہاری خاموشی سے تمہاری تکلیف کا اندازہ نہ کرسکے ، اسکے سامنے ذبان سے اظہار کرنا صرف لفظوں کو ضائع کرنا ہے ۔ ہمیشہ اُس وقت بولیں جب آپ کو احساس ہو کہ آپ کے الفاظ جو آپ کہنے جارہے ہیں آپ کی خاموشی سے ذیادہ خوبصورت ہیں ۔
جب درد حد سے ذیادہ بڑھ جائے تو انسان روتا نہیں خموش ہو جاتا ہے ۔
دو چیزیں انسان کی کمزوری ظاہر کرتی ہیں ، جہاں بولنا ہو وہاں خاموش رہنا اور جہاں خاموش رہنا ہو وہاں بولنا ۔ تم جتنا ذیادہ خاموش رہو گے اتنا ذیادہ سننے کے قابل ہو گے ۔ خاموشی بہت کچھ کہتی ہے کان لگا کر نہیں دل لگا کر سنو ۔ کبھی کبھار حق پر رہنے کے باوجود خاموش رہنا پڑتا ہے ، اس لئے نہیں کہ تم ڈرتے ہو ، اس لئے کہ تمہیں رشتے بحث سے ذیادہ پیارے ہوتے ہیں۔ اگر لوگ اپنی گفتگو سے غیبت ، تمہت اور بہتان نکال دیں تو باقی صرف خاموشی رہ جاتی ہے جو ایک بہترین عبادت ہے ۔ وہ اللہ ہی تو ہے جو دل کی خاموشی بھی سمجھ لیتا ہے ۔
